First of all, each Household Product Mould should be equipped with a resume card to record and count its use, care (lubrication, cleaning, rust prevention) and damage. According to this, we can find out which parts have been damaged and the degree of wear, and provide information for finding and solving problems, as well as forming process parameters of household product mould and materials used in products. In order to shorten the test run time of the mould and improve the production efficiency.

Secondly, under the condition of normal operation of injection moulding machines and moulds, processing enterprises should detect various properties of household product mould and measure the size of the final moulded parts. Through this information, the existing state of the household product mould can be determined, and the damages of the cavity, core, cooling system and parting surface can be found. According to the information provided by the mould, the size of the final formed part can be measured. Can judge the damage of the mould and maintenance measures.

It is very important to track and inspect several important parts of the mould for household products: ejection and guide parts are used to ensure the opening and closing movement of the mould and ejection of plastic parts. If any part of the mould is blocked due to damage, it will lead to a shutdown. Therefore, at the end of each production cycle, an ohmmeter should be used to measure the belt heater, rod heater, heating probe and thermocouple on the mould. If there is any damage, it should be replaced in time and compared with the mould history, and records should be made so that problems can be found in time and corresponding measures can be taken.

Finally, attaching importance to the surface maintenance of household product mould directly affects the surface quality of the products, and the key is rust prevention. Therefore, it is particularly important to choose suitable, high-quality and professional antirust oil. After the household product mould is completed, the residual injection parts shall be carefully removed by different methods according to different injection moulding methods. Copper rods, metal wires and professional mould cleaners can be used to remove residual injection moulding and other deposits from household product mould, and then air dry. It is strictly prohibited to clean hard objects such as iron wires and steel bars to avoid scratching the surface. If there are rust spots caused by corrosive injection moulding and polishing with a grinder, professional anti-rust oil shall be sprayed, and then household product mould shall be stored in a dry, cool and dust-free place.
