In many industrial products, the requirements for the size and shape of the products are relatively high. Therefore, the mould designers of household products are required to use plastics for reasonable mould design to improve the production efficiency of industrial products. However, in the process of designing corresponding moulds for Household Product Mould designers, there are often some problems, such as different tolerances of household product mould, different shrinkage rates, different cooling levels, etc., which seriously affect the efficiency of household product mould.

First, the tolerances are different. For different products, different proportions of household product mould are required. The tolerances of household products are not high, and the tolerances are high. The mould processing technology of household products is relatively complicated. Therefore, in the process of designing household products, designers The problem of mould tolerance marking for household products is considered. However, in the actual design process, there are still some designers who select tolerances according to their experience, which causes errors in the size and shape of the moulds of household products, and affects the quality and reference value of mould design of household products;

Second, the shrinkage rate is different. In the process of making a household product mould, the plastic needs to be melted into a liquid under high temperature or high pressure conditions, and injected into the corresponding cavity. In the liquid plastic shaping process, due to the characteristics of the plastic itself, the size of the mould of the household product will be slightly smaller than the cavity, which is the shrinkage. The shrinkage must be taken into account during the designer's design of the mould for the household product, but some designers are not aware of the different types of plastics, the shrinkage is different, and the uniform standard cannot be used for the calculation of shrinkage. Once the shrinkage rate is calculated incorrectly, the size of the household product mould will also be affected;

Third, the coefficient of thermal expansion is different. Different plastic materials have different coefficients of thermal expansion, and this coefficient of thermal expansion directly affects the shape and size of the plastic after cooling. Therefore, in the design of household product mould, the designer must also take the thermal expansion coefficient into consideration, and adjust the design size of the household product mould according to the actual situation. However, some designers do not strictly abide by the design process, ignoring the utilization of the coefficient of thermal expansion, resulting in a certain difference between the cooled household product mould and the actual demand of the household product mould, thereby affecting the design efficiency of the household product mould.
