This article is mainly to share our relevant production experience and help customers to better understand what kind of Chair Mould is of high quality and what kind of chair mould is of poor quality.

First, the cycle. If the weight of the chair is between 1700 g and 2400 g, its cycle time should be between 35s and 50s, such as an injection moulding machine.

Second, die life. Most manufacturers want their life span to be 1 million mould times. How can we ensure this? In order to reduce the labor force of workers by eliminating burrs and burrs from the products produced by the die within the service life of 1 million dies, the first thing we should do is to check the hardness of the die steel and the welding parts of the die. The chair mould is usually made of HRC33 steel.

Third, the parting line. We must confirm whether the mould structure design is reasonable, then we can know how to process the mould core and cavity, and each stage of them.

Fourth, the wall thickness. Uniform injection of the product will also lead to uneven cooling time, which will also affect the injection speed and cause shrinkage marks. If the numerical control milling is too rough, it will also affect the quality of the chair.

Fifth, check stackability. When designing the chair mould, we should analyze the stacking situation and also consider the possible deformation in the product moulding.
